Colwyn Bay photographer- Some pics of Annie

My lovely wife, Annie, needs a new passport so she asked me to take a quick pic in the studio.

As payment for my services I asked her to be a model (for all of five minutes) so I could try out my new lens.

She was amazed that I could make her look so amazing. She always does look great but you know women always have negative views of themselves.

Here is her new passport photo (following Home Office guidelines – Look straight at the camera, plain background, flat (ish) lighting) followed by a quick lighting and background change.

Comments are always very welcome. Please click “leave a comment” after this post.

Conwy wedding photographer- My wedding fair stand

Last weekend I did my first ever wedding fair.

A short trip down the valley to Llanrwst and I was at glasdir, a conference centre that is fairly new and was to be my home for the duration of the fair. Well it was just the Sunday really :)

It wasn`t the busiest day I`ve ever had but I did meet some really cool people, great loved up couples and had an amazing beef hotpot for lunch.

Hopefully I impressed some of the couples I met and they will be coming to see me in the near future to talk more about wedding photography.

I took a few piccies while I was there and have added them below. I was so impressed with one cake and chocolate maker I took some shots of his cakes too. I have also added him to my “prefered vendors” links on my website. Only the select, best people get there!

My little stand, with TV, video, sweets, chocolates, framed prints, metallic prints, books and albums of all different sizes.

Conwy wedding photographer- Wedding fair in Glasdir, llanrwst

Only a week to go now and I`ll be at Glasdir in Llanrwst for their wedding fair.

I`ll have all my wedding books, slideshows, framed images and all the information you will need to see how great your wedding photography can be.

Colwyn Bay photographer- Be My Bear product shots

I was approached just before Christmas by a local company based in Rhos on Sea to do some product photography for their new website , brochures and trade fair advertising. This company is called Be My Bear and they supply teddy bears and other cuddly animals that you make yourself.  You are supplied the skin, which you then stuff, add a voice box that you personalize with your own message, add a heart (after wishing on it) close it up then comes the fun bit. Picking which costume to dress your animal in! Is it a boy or is it a girl? You decide! You then write out the birth certificate for your new friend and pop him or her in the cool bags and off you go.

After doing all the product shots, I photographed a Be My Bear party, where the children did exactly that and they had a fantastic time doing it.

If you want a party where the children take home a gift better than any goody bag you could make up the give Be My Bear a ring and get them to host a Be My Bear party in your own home.

Here are a few of the products available and some of the party too.

North Wales wedding photographer- Congratulations to…..

….. Jenny and Huw, who have kindly agreed to me photographing their big day for them this spring. With the ceremony in Bodelwyddan castle and the reception in Northop Hall, it sure will be one to remember.

Conwy portrait photographer- Crabbe family portraits

Christmas is a time when families get together , and as it doesn`t happen that often, it`s a perfect time to have some fun portraits done to remember your time together.

So, along came Paul, his partner and their grandchildren to have a bit of a giggle in the studio between Christmas and new year.

Cute kids and photos go together like a party and bad karaoke so here are a few of the images we got this week.
