As this blog is new I thought I`d share my first job with you.
All the way back in 2006 I had my first commisioned shoot. It was to photograph the girls and boys of Pearl Shaw dance school in Colwyn Bay. Up to this point I was still shooting for fun and for friends.
Back then...
Photographing children is never easy, especially when they are my neices and not at all happy with a camera in front of them.
But after about five minutes they relaxed into the session and had a terrific time. Helping me capture some amazing fun images.
It helps that they are totally gorgeous girls too. Love you guys...
…Karen and Anthony who are getting married next April in Llandudno. Hopefully we`ll have a chance to get some shots on the pier if the weather holds out for us.
I had the great fortune to shoot Nichola a little while ago in Conwy. She wanted to build a portfolio and to have some pics to make her feel great about herself.
The shoot was awesome with various costume changes (by her, not me) and different locations in Conwy.

Shot on llandudno`s West Shore, Jen, Matthew and myself made good use of the lovely evening weather at the beginning of June to get some engagement photos and some pre-wedding practice.
This shot, taken with the sunset and the Great Orme in the background was one of my faves from the shoot.
I don`t normally do this sort of stuff but as I was out with the boys and the dog I saw this HUGE toadstool and thought I`d take a snap or two.
It was so big my youngest son asked if he could sit on it

Had a rare day out in Betws-y-Coed today to shoot Liz and Gareth`s wedding in the Craig-y-Dderwen hotel.
Also for a change the weather there was totally awesome, warm and sunny with a slight breeze.
The bride and groom live in Southampton but Liz originally came from up here.

This is a portrait of my eldest son Morgan. He`s a moody grump at the best of times so this shot is just perfect of him.
I may even insist my couples enter like this. It is so awesome that their church official let them do this.
I keep coming back to watch it again and again.
