They were married in the Hercules Hall which is a really cool venue for a wedding, then over to the Portmeirion Hotel for the wedding breakfast, then finally over to the Hercules Hall again for the evening reception.

The weather continued to be rough up to the end of the wedding breakfast then, hooray! It cleared up, and although not sunny it was dry.

Nicola and Lee were totally awesome! They were happy to do pretty much what I suggested and we did get some amazing images of the two of them in Portmeirion`s iconic architecture.

I must say a big thank you to Rob, the best man. He did a great job and even lugging my bags and stuff around for me. He also gave the bride and groom an awesome wedding present too. Just a honeymoon in Barcelona! What a guy.

It was a real fun wedding, a bunch of squaddies let loose for the weekend is always going to be a laugh, and they didn`t disappoint.

We headed over to Haulfre gardens, up above Church walks in llandudno, mainly because that is where David proposed to Heidi.

I don`t know about him going down on on one knee, I was on both knees after climbing the steep paths up the Orme. I was shattered, and it`s times like that when I realise just how unfit I am.

Both of these guys are very comfortable in front of the camera and we got some awesome images for them.

These guys are getting married later on this year and took up the offer of a practice shoot. We headed over to Teleri`s family farm in Bryn y Maen and got a few great images for them.

Bright and breezy but sooo warm. A great day for photography.

A very emotional celebration with pleanty of tears and also plenty of laughing and fun.

Ross is from Scotland so wore a traditional kilt, which always makes for interesting images.

Phillippa and Ross knew I had a sweet tooth so laid out an entire pick and mix sweet table for me. OK, maybe it was ALL for me but it was delicious.

All in all a fun day was had by everyone.

A really classy affair, both are professionals from The City, but despite that, they are the nicest people ever.

I started off with Gordon at his parents house in Rhos on sea, where they were watching a Youtube video showing how to do up their crevats. Then off the the Quay hotel in Deganwy to catch Auggie and her family who had travelled over from the USA.

The wedding took place in Llandrillo parish church in Rhos on Sea, and what a cool little church it is too. Very light inside which makes a nice change. Then over to Plas Maenan for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.

It was sooooooo hot and sunny (we are not used to it here in North Wales) so we were looking for nice shady spots for the photos.  Plas Maenan has some lovely wooded grounds so we made the best use of them.

Auggie was a competative ballroom dancer so has trained Gordon for their first dance and I have to say they were terrific, even putting a lift into the routine.

Thanks for a great day guys, you were awesome. have a great honeymoon and I`ll see you when you get back.

A big thank you too to Gareth Heesom, my fellow photographer, assistant, and mobile lightstand who was my right hand man on the shoot. You were a star, see you in a couple of weeks for the next one.

This time it was Joanne and Gary`s big day. It was absolutely throwing it down all morning but thankfully by the time Joanne arrived at the castle it had more or less cleared up, leaving a rather uninspiring slate grey sky.

The radiant Joanne made the day a lot brighter with a smile that didn`t leave her face all day.

The reason it was a short session, about twenty minutes, was it decided to absolutely throw it down. By the end of the session we were all soaked, and so was my equipment.

We went to the Fairy falls in Trefriw because Melody and Chris love the area and visit it whenever they can.

The occasion was Victoria and Craigs wedding.  The church was in Dwygyfylchi, on the North Wales coast. The weather forecast to supposed to be awful but it turned out to be pretty much perfect if a bit chilly.

After the church service we headed back to Victoria`s parents house for drinks, nibbles and a few photos. After that on to Soughton Hall in Northop, a truely spectacular place to have a wedding reception.

The whole day went so awesomely for the happy couple, I hope their honeymoon in New York goes just as well.

The only thing missing was the weather. It poured down all day with only a ten minute break after dark where we managed to run out for a quick shot of the happy couple and the magnificent backdrop of the castle.

To be fair, Nicola wasn`t the slightest bit bothered with the rain. Her words were “it`s March in the UK, what else would the weather be doing?”.

So, as we couldn`t do much outside we had to get creative inside.

Did I say it was raining?

It was David`s mum`s birthday as well so everyone sang happy birthday, and here she is blowing out the candles.

There was eight of us there to be trained last night so we should be OK for a while.

A local company called Medic 1 kindly donated their time to help us with the training. Mainly because I`m good friends with Stephen Knight, the head of human resources at Medic 1. His wife Laurel Knight, the Chief of operations at Medic 1 and the brains behind the company (sorry Steve, it’s true ) also came along to the evening to share her considerable knowledge.

It was a very informative evening and to be honest, a little scary too. Practicing CPR on a baby sized resuscitation dummy really gets you thinking about life. It must be terrifying having to do it to a real baby! With any luck I`ll never have to do it for real.

The four hour lesson absolutely flew by , a real testiment to the teaching skills of Steve and Laurel. I can recommend them to anyone who needs medical training. They also do medical cover for events and sporting fixtures. Their list of clients and event coverage is very impressive. They have secured The 2010 Ryder Cup golfing event this year so they do know what they are doing.
