Lion Quays resort wedding photographer- Emily and Marks wedding

I had the great pleasure of photographing Emily and Marks wedding yesterday at the Lion Quays waterside resort near Oswestry.

I think this was the first time for ages that I have photographed a Sunday wedding and the first time I have been to the Lion Quays.

It`s a pretty cool venue, right on the canal, with jettys for the narrow boats and everything:)

The weather, for the end of November was awesome. Bright, clear and a very slight breeze. Perfect!

Emily looked totally beautiful in her amazing dress and Mark was an extremely handsome groom.

Here are a few images from Emily and Marks wedding at the Lion Quays, I hope you like them.

If you do, please feel free to leave a comment at the end of this post.

Enjoy x.

North Wales photographer- Conwy half marathon 2011

Sunday saw me on Conwy quayside again photographing the Conwy half marathon for Run Wales and what a lovely day it was. It was at least ten degrees warmer than it was for last years race. Great for me and the spectators, not as great for the runners.

A fantastic showing this year, with over 1400 runners doing the 13 mile course from Conwy to Llandudno, round the Great Orme and back to Conwy.

Here are just a few of the images I took at the Conwy half marathon 2011. Hope you like them.

North Wales portrait photographer- Scooter Boy

My son, Matthew is a complete scooter, skateboard and BMX fanatic. He lives on his scooter pretty much 24/7 when he`s not in school.

He actually wanted to take his scooter to bed the first day he got it!

I`ve been wanting to get some images of him with his scooter for a while now and finally did today.

Here are the results:)

Chester Cathedral wedding photographer- Congratulations to…

…Kate and Phil who are getting married next October.

I photographed Kate and Phil earlier this year for their yachting company, Essentail Sailing and they liked their images so (see the images here)much they have now asked me to photograph their wedding for them as well:)

After the service in Chester cathedral we will be heading over to Llyndir Hall for the reception and partying.

I always love working at new venues, and here I will be doing two in one day. Awesome!

Soughton Hall wedding photographer- Julie and Richards wedding

Julie and Richard travelled over from Doncaster for their wedding at Soughton Hall this weekend. They are a super lovely couple and were a joy to photograph.

Soughton Hall is an amazing venue for a wedding, full of character and cool features.

It seems that it is pre destined to rain every Saturday this year at some point in the day, and this Saturday was no different. Well, it rained pretty much all day.

We had a good time though. The wedding party were really friendly, helpful and good fun.

Julie`s sister even belted out a few songs in the evening which was a great start to the evening for the guests.

Here are a few images from Julie and Richards wedding at Soughton Hall. I hope you like them.

If you do, feel free to leave a comment at the end of this post. Enjoy. x.

Tony Fanning - Hehe, thank you Bill. There are plenty of images of you too to come later :)

Bill Alexander - Brilliant! You guys were superb on the day, capturing fantastic memories without being intrusive or spending hours taking photo after photo.

Thanks for a great job. If I could add a small observation, perhaps you could have taken a few more of the bride’s father, who was incredibly handsome I thought.

Cheers!

Bill (father of the bride)
