Conwy wedding photographer- Congratulations to….

…Sian and Dewi from Eglwysbach. They are getting married next summer in Eglwysbach and having their reception in Plas Maenan, in the Conwy valley.

Very much looking forward to helping them get the images they really want from their big day.

North Wales photographer- A family trip down to London

The school summer (kind of) holidays and what to do with the kids?

They have never been down to fancy London so we booked a weekend away to the capital.

A very very early start to catch the train down started a not very relaxing trip. It`s been about twenty years since I had a real visit to London and I`d kind of forgotten just how big it is. Living in North Wales, I think of Bangor as big these days;)

We visited HMS Belfast, the London Eye, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the London Sealife Centre, Tower Bridge, along with the various places you just have to visit , like Picadilly Circus (probaly THE busiest place in the world), I did take a cool silhouette of Eros with the bright lights as a backdrop.

All we seemed to do was walk, walk and walk some more. All our feet were numb at the end of each day. To be fair, the boys were totally shattered at the end of each day but they were great, hardly arguing at all (I don`t think they had the energy to do so).

Of course I had a camera with me. No flash, so all the shots I took were using natural light or whatever light was available. For all of you who know cameras, I was shooting with my 5D mk2 and inside the aquarium I was using iso 6400 @ 1/20th a lot of the time. It was dark! Good job most the stuff in there moves slowly:)

I did take some random images as well, like the white bike. They use the white bikes as memorials to cyclists who died at that spot. There are many around, showing just how bad it is on the road for cyclists.

Anyway here are some of the shots I took this weekend.

North Wales wedding photographer- Congratulations to….

….Clare and Ian, from Birmingham.

They are getting married in the Bae Abermaw Hotel in Barmouth in December and have kindly asked me to to photograph their big day for them.

I don`t get over to that part of the country very often so it will be a treat to see the west coast.

Colwyn Bay portrait photographer- lifestyle portraits in Eirias Park

A beautiful sunny morning in the Bay, combined with some cute kids who wanted to have a laugh equals a happy photographer.

Outdoor, lifestyle portraits are so much fun, so much more scope to explore the personalities of the subjects.

There is this cool hill in the park that I never new was there. So, cue running about! Even me. I was shattered.

A very slightly different processing on the images, a bit of a boost to the colours to give them a really summery vibe.

Hope you like them.

Lynsey Hackett - Lovely natural portraits Tony. I love the crispness of colour contrast. Great work!

Conwy valley photographer- Joanne and Scott`s pre wedding session

Joanne and Scotts wedding has come around so quickly. It`s happening in a week!  It only seems like yesterday they were in the studio talking about their big day and quizzing me about the services I offer.

We took advantage of a brief break in the glorious North Wales summer weather to catch up and get a bit of practice in for the big day.

We headed over to their wedding venue, Plas Maenan, in the Conwy valley to check it out and get a few cool shots of the two of them. Unbelievably, for a thurday there was literally a coach load of people there for lunch so we used the grounds as best we could for the short time we were there.

We had a bit of a goof around, chatted and hopefully got the nerves out of the way for next weekend.

Here are a few images from today.
