They are getting married in the Guildhall, Conwy in February and then having the wedding breakfast in Watson’s Bistro in Conwy.
As we are quieting down now for the Christmas holidays I thought I`d have a bit of a play in the studio withsome lightpainting.
I was only doing it for literally ten minutes and came up with the two images below.
Just using a long shutter speed and a bare torch bulb twirling around the lightbulb I got some interesting spiral light trails.
Time for more experimenting I think and I`ll post up the results another time
As I said in a previous post, it has been an awesome year. Fantastic weddings with fantastic people. Every single one of them was fun. All had challenges in some form or another, from brides who were ill to baking hot days to monsoon type weather.
To celebrate this years work I am running my end of year review and competion again. Lasts year`s one was amazing, with two couples neck and neck to win the prize.
Hopefully this year`s will be just as exciting.
This post contains one image from each wedding I was lucky enough to be part of this year. The image is my choice, my fave from that wedding.

It has been an incredible year! I`ve met some amazing people and been lucky enough to be a small part of many weddings.
I thought I`d share a short slideshow which has just my gorgeous brides in it.
It could have had another hundred images in it but I`ve kept it to one or two per bride, just to keep it short and sweet.

They are getting married next April in Gwydir Castle, Llanrwst, and have kindly asked me to photograph their big day for them.
Its been a couple of years since I was last at Gwydir castle and it will be a great pleasure to go back again and create some super wedding images for the happy bride and groom.
Had a lovely little trip over to one of my favourite wedding locations yesterday, Portmeirion. It always looks great and I find something different there everytime I visit.
We started off with the bride Rebecca, and the girls in the hotel. They were great fun and looked beautiful. I don`t think I`ve ever seen young ladies drinking sherry before
The wedding was held in Hercules Hall in the village. A very nice room with a huge picture window and fantastic ceiling.
We only had a very short time for photos before the wedding breakfast so we had to work super fast, and without the help of the most awesome bestman, Rusty, I don`t think we`d have got through it all in time.

We are enjoying the photos. Very beautifully done. We couldn’t make it from the USA to the wedding but now we can have the feeling we were actually there with the family.
