Conwy valley photographer- Joanne and Scott`s pre wedding session

Joanne and Scotts wedding has come around so quickly. It`s happening in a week! It only seems like yesterday they were in the studio talking about their big day and quizzing me about the services I offer.

We took advantage of a brief break in the glorious North Wales summer weather to catch up and get a bit of practice in for the big day.

We headed over to their wedding venue, Plas Maenan, in the Conwy valley to check it out and get a few cool shots of the two of them. Unbelievably, for a thurday there was literally a coach load of people there for lunch so we used the grounds as best we could for the short time we were there.

We had a bit of a goof around, chatted and hopefully got the nerves out of the way for next weekend.

Llandudno engagement photography- Heidi and David

Another engagement / pre wedding session today. This time it was heidi and daves turn to strut their stuff.

We headed over to Haulfre gardens, up above Church walks in llandudno, mainly because that is where David proposed to Heidi.

I don`t know about him going down on on one knee, I was on both knees after climbing the steep paths up the Orme. I was shattered, and it`s times like that when I realise just how unfit I am.

Both of these guys are very comfortable in front of the camera and we got some awesome images for them.

Conwy engagement photographey- Teleri and Nick

I had a very, very quick pre wedding session with Teleri and Nick today. Curcumstances were conspiring against us so we couldn`t do all the stuff we wanted to do.

These guys are getting married later on this year and took up the offer of a practice shoot. We headed over to Teleri`s family farm in Bryn y Maen and got a few great images for them.

Bright and breezy but sooo warm. A great day for photography.

These two love birds are getting married in a week and took the opportunity to go down to Conwy Morfa for a short pre wedding practice to make sure they are as relaxed as possible on their big day.

During these shoots we talk about the wedding, what we`ll be doing, how it all works, some posing advice, and generally goof about while getting some top images for the couple.

Phillippa and Ross are a real laugh and I`m sure the wedding will be a blast.

North Wales wedding photographer- Katie and James engagement session

Katie and James are getting married this summer, and as they both live and work in Newcastle we took the opportunity this weekend to get them used to being photographed. To say James was not at all comfortable is an understatement, so this session hopefully went some way to helping him out.

These images were taken around his family home near Rhuthin, North Wales. It was a fun session and I`m really looking forward to their wedding.

Llandudno wedding photographer- Nicola and lee’s engagement session

After a hectic morning of meetings and stress, it was great to meet up with Nicola and lee for their engagement shoot. We decided on Happy Valley on the Great Orme in Llandudno as it is a pretty cool place. Their wedding will be in the amazing Portmeirion, I can`t wait!

It was midday and not a cloud in the sky so we used what little shade there was to get some great shots of the two of them. We had a great chat about their wedding and some of the Scottish delicacies nicola has promised me- deep fried pizza and macaroni cheese pie being two stand-out options

Conwy wedding photographer-Auggie and Gordon’s engagement session

August and Gordon are two awesome people from fancy London who are getting married in June in Rhos on Sea.They don’t get up here too often so to finally get here with the sun shining is a real bonus.

Gordon is a local lad done good and August is an American girl who thought the UK was the place to be. This was the first time we have actually met. They booked me to photograph their wedding about a year ago after seeing my website and a brief chat on the phone.

We tried Rhos prom but it was too busy and unbelievably it was really sunny and everyone was struggling not to squint so we headed off to Bryn Euryn, with lots of lovely open shade to play with.

I`m really looking forward to photographing their big day with my good buddy Gareth again. Roll on June!

Conwy wedding photographer- Melody and Chris’s engagement session in Trefriw

I am photographing Melody and Chris’s wedding later this year and as they are from Yorkshire and don’t visit this area very often we took the chance over Easter to go out and have a short engagement session.

The reason it was a short session, about twenty minutes, was it decided to absolutely throw it down. By the end of the session we were all soaked, and so was my equipment.

We went to the Fairy falls in Trefriw because Melody and Chris love the area and visit it whenever they can.

Anyway, here are a few of the images we took in those twenty minutes.

North Wales wedding photographer- Joanne and Gary`s e-shoot in Bodelwyddan Castle

I met up with joanne and Gary in Bodelwyddan Castle yesterday for their engagement/ practise session before their may wedding.

It was absolutely freezing so we didn`t actually hang around long. Just a few piccies then we ran off to the warm of the cars.

The inside of the castle is such a cool place., but because it is a museum and gallery you are not allowed to take photos. The only exception is on the actual wedding day and then only the official photographer (me) is allowed to snap away

Here are a couple of images we got in the short time we were outside. Jo and Gary were such fun, real kids at heart and I`m sure the wedding will be just as much fun.

North Wales wedding photographer- Jenny and Huw`s engagement session

A drizzly damp Saturday afternoon in Lanfair TH isn`t normally the best place to be on a Saturday afternoon, but it was yesterday as I had the chance to get Jenny and Huw on their own to have their engagement/practice session before their wedding in May. They are getting married in Bodelwyddan castle and having their reception in Northop Hall. Cool!

Huw isn`t around much because of his job so it really was the last proper chance to see him and so we made the most of it, regardless of the weather. A real fun couple- lots of giggles and laughs.
