A rare trip out of Wales this week for the wedding of Rose and Ian.
They had chosen Manchester art gallery for their wedding venue. Right smack bang in Manchester city centre, surrounded by traffic, trams and high rise buildings, it is a far cry from weddings over here in north Wales.
I met up with Rose, the bride, and the girls in the Arora hotel, opposite the gallery. Everyone was amazingly chilled, without much evidence of wedding day nerves.
I have never seen a bride so absolutely thrilled by her bridal bouquet. I though Rose was going to burst at one point 🙂
As is customary, Ian, the groom, and a few of the boys went to the pub. It was nice to see them before the ceremony and get some relaxed images of them all having a quick pint.
The ceremony was held in one of the galleries and with a couple of lovely emotional readings it went perfectly, with Rose and Ian dancing down the aisle, applauded by their guests at the end.

The wedding breakfast was held in the atrium of the gallery, with Rose and Ian making a grand entrance down the glass staircase.
We managed to get outside for a couple of evening bride and groom portraits later on and I left them around 10pm, still dancing and celebrating with their guests.
Enough of me waffling on.
Here are a few wedding images Rose and Ian’s wedding at Manchester art gallery. I hope you like them.
