Another cracking wedding in north Wales this week. Weddings at Faenol Fawr country house are always a bit special.
I first met Milly and Marcus when I photographed Milly’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago. That was a lovely day in Plas Maenan. Milly and her other sisters were bridesmaids then and now it’s their turn to help Milly on her wedding day.
I met up with the bride and bridesmaids in the Quay hotel in Deganwy for the final stages of the bridal hair and makeup.
Milly and Marcus were married in Gloddaeth united church in Llandudno. The vicar was lovely and was happy for us to photograph the whole service.
After a short visit to the cemetery so that Milly and Marcus could see the grave of her grandmother we went to Nant y Gamar for some photographs. I love it up there. It’s quiet, it’s beautiful and has a great view of Llandudno.
After that we drove over to Rhuddlan castle to meet up with the rest of the bridal party for more photos.
The wedding reception was held in Faenol Fawr country house. A great wedding venue in North Wales with top notch food. Always a winner with me 🙂
As a surprise for the family and guests Milly and Marcus had secretly trained for their first dance. They didn’t want to do the standard wedding shuffle so I put them in touch with Alys McDonald, a dance instructor who worked her magic with them. They totally nailed their first dance and it went down a storm!
You know what? I’m going to let the pictures tell the rest of the story as I am not a great writer.
I hope you enjoy them.
Here are a few wedding photographs from Amelia and Marcus’s wedding at Faenol Fawr country house. I hope you like them.
