At the beginning of June I was delighted to be photographing another one of those fantastic weddings at Nant Gwrtheyrn.
This time it was Sian and Alwyn getting married on the Welsh coast.
It started off cool and pretty dark, with heavy cloud shrouding the tops of the mountains, but by the afternoon there wasn’t a cloud to be seen and it was blisteringly hot. Well, hot for Welsh weather 🙂
The Welsh language wedding ceremony was in the gorgeous little chapel that they have there at Nant Gwrtheyrn, which has had a glass conservatory(?) tagged onto the end which makes for a striking image when the couple are signing their wedding register in there.
The reception room was decorated beautifully for their afternoon tea wedding reception and speeches.
I was pleased to be able to use a little bit of the forest for the bride and groom portraits at Nant Gwrtheyrn, and in the evening we just had to use a bit of the coastline and the evening sunshine for a few more portraits.
